Within a 45 minute drive of St Andrews are countless other courses from Carnoustie, classic links such as Crail and Elie to modern masterpieces at Kingsbarns and Dumbarnie. St Andrews town is ideal base for a week or longer stay to play all the local and surrounding courses.
What’s to do and see locally.
The historical town of St Andrews offers a wealth of things to do and see to enrich your visit. Golf historians will want to visit The British Golf Museum. The ancient cathedral and castles and walks of the town’s old streets and on the West Sand Beach are to be enjoyed by all. Further afield a tour of the scenic coast of Fife and a stop for lunch at some of the fishing villages such as Crail and Anstruther.

Enjoy a drink and meal in The Old Tom Morris Restaurant in The Links Clubhouse with it’s panoramic views of the golf courses before or after your round on the links.
